Jason Zerbin is an Edmonton based Indie Rock band carrying the name of its chief songwriter and front-man. Ryan Wegner, Jon Greig, Jeremy Dehek, and Peter Mol fill out the band forming layers of rich melody and moving rhythm.
Self described as “….indie rock, thick with melody and an almost symphonic layering of instruments.” Though some songs may hint of “pop” melodies easily getting stuck in your head, these are accompanied by lyrical and musical moments of honest emotion and spirituality. “We hope that listeners will not only love the music for what it is from a technical standpoint, but will also appreciate the experience that they are invited into.” Whether in live performance or when listening to recordings, fans will often find themselves drawn into that experience, being impacted by the strong Spirit found in the music.
Their debut record (3.9.2010) is consistently marked by this musical fusion; with lyrics that prove to be both poetic and accessible.
“Whether it’s a melody, rhythm or lyric, music can go as deep as to bring healing into someone’s life or simply bring the sunshine to a cloudy day.” It’s this belief that sparked the recording of their debut album and is the constant motivator behind their shows and live performance.

okay, I’m a fan, you got me. Great tunes man. Very cool you got one of your songs in a movie. I’m in a band from New Orleans and we get rejected alot for that, but after hearing your stuff I know why. Need to step up our game if guys like you are the competition. Kudos dude.
As an aspiring musician myself it’s good to see someone with real talent being recognized. So often all we get are people screaming songs instead of singing them. The songs is great, the vocals are spot on and I can listen to your music all day and not get bored with it. I think that is whats lacking in music today, true vocals, melodies that stick in your head and talent. I wish you much luck Mr.Zerbin but I don’t think you’ll be needing it.
